City Love

Great news everyone; I’ve expanded to add Hipmunk.com to my travel writing résumé! I love Hipmunk and you will too.

They’re an amazing resource to travel the world on a budget; their search features are great because:

You can sort flights by Agony vs Ecstasy
Can’t stand long layovers? hate multiple connections? only want to fly out between 7-9 in the morning? No problem, the search filters allow you to tailor your results to only show the perfect flights for you.

You can maintain multiple search tabs open on their page
This really allows you to play with a lot of variables in order to find the cheapest flight possible. The other day I found a round trip flight from Madrid to Bangkok for 493 euro on Etihad Airways! It took me about 15 minutes of playing around but I wound up saving over 120 euro!

It’s a piece of cake to search for the best budget accommodation
In addition to the great hotel search engines, they also search Airbnb for you! If you don’t already use Airbnb, make sure to sign up using this Airbnb Coupon Code and get $25 for your first visit just for being my friend.

They keep all your recent searches saved
See the top right hand corner of Hipmunk.com? Click “Recent Searches” and watch all your hard work pop back up. This allows you to easily and quickly check flight prices multiple days of the week which usually means finding the best priced airfare.
