Somebody slap me! (why do I feel like everyone would oblige?) Life cannot be this great this soon… can it? Coming to the home of Usha in Monemvasia was a fluke, thanks to my friend- the internet and helpx.net.
Arriving to Monemvasia in the dark of night, I had no idea what absolutely astounding beauty I had landed in. Waking in the morning to look out the window and find the sea, the mountains, olive groves, and vineyards- everything I love- in one place was too good to be true.
This is only my second day in Monemvasia, and today was stormy, which is good because we need the rain for the house. I promise
better photos with more sun and a longer blog detailing the absolute wonders of this fantastic place as soon as I find the time. “Find the time?!- what are you doing all day?!”
Well, Usha lives an Eco lifestyle. We are living with solar panels instead of electricity, the water we drink we collect from a spring, the food we eat comes from the garden- it takes time to live this sort of lifestyle and this is how I will be spending my days.
Much love to my dear friends in my old home, and new friends I have yet to meet.

Can’t wait to see all the beauty in the sun. I love the idea of the new way that you are going to be living for awhile. Sounds…good, in the purest sense of the the word. …..”and He saw that it was good”. We love you and Pop says “easy on the scooter..no falling down”.
